Heather FiteHeather Fite is a distinguished citizen of the Cherokee Nation and serves as the Manager of Youth Leadership in the Education Department. With more than 20 years of extensive leadership experience, Heather is wholeheartedly dedicated to empowering youth, recognizing them as the future of our communities. In her role, she effectively coordinates and directs a variety of impactful programs, including the Tribal Youth Council, Miss Cherokee, Jr. Miss Cherokee, the Little Cherokee Ambassadors, the Remember the Removal Bike Program, and the Youth Choir. Residing in Fort Gibson with her family, Heather cherishes time spent with loved ones and actively engages in sporting events and outdoor activities such as cycling. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, specializing in Family Life Education, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the Sociology of Family and Community Services. Heather’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation is truly inspiring.
