My name is Mackenzie Teehee from the long hair clan, 23 years old from Stilwell, OK. Currently a senior at Northeastern State University pursuing a degree in Human and Health performance. In the free time I enjoy spending time with friends, exporting new places, and trying my best to stay physically active in any fun way.
The sorrow and grief fills the grounds our ancestors were forced to make their way into an unknown world. They prevailed with courage, resilience, and compassion. I am beyond thankful for this opportunity to embrace my ancestors’ strength and perseverance. I am proud to be a 2025 remember the removal youth rider. My team has turned friends into a family, each day was filled with spoken encouragement, loving embrace, and plenty of laughter.
This program has given me strength and confidence that will give me momentum for my future endeavors.
