Adriauna Garcia

Adriauna GarciaAdriauna Garcia is a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation and a 2024 graduate of Tahlequah High School. She is originally from Greasy, Oklahoma, and grew up in Tahlequah. While in high school, she was a four-year soccer player and team captain, served on Student Council, and was Vice President of Business Professionals of America at Indian Capital Technology Center. She was also an active member of the Native American Heritage Club.

Adriauna is currently 19 years old and in her second year at Tulsa Community College, where she is majoring in Communications. She comes from a fluent Cherokee-speaking family and is passionate about keeping Cherokee language, culture, and traditions alive through daily practice and community involvement.

In her free time, Adriauna enjoys beading, running, spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and thrifting. After completing her studies at TCC, she plans to transfer to the University of Oklahoma to earn her bachelor’s degree and return home to work for the Cherokee Nation.
