Siyo, Mackenzie Teehee, of the Long Hair Clan, is 23 years old and is from Stilwell, Oklahoma. She is currently a senior at Northeastern State University pursuing a degree in Human and Health Performance. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new places, and staying physically active through a variety of fun activities.
As a 2025 Remember the Removal youth rider, Mackenzie was deeply moved by the sorrow and grief that still fill the places where her ancestors were forced to journey into an unknown world. She found inspiration in their courage, resilience, and compassion and is profoundly grateful for the opportunity to honor their strength and perseverance. Throughout the experience, her teammates became more than friends—they became family. Each day was filled with words of encouragement, heartfelt support, and plenty of laughter.
The Remember the Removal Bike Ride gave Mackenzie renewed strength and confidence that she will carry into her future endeavors. She will forever be changed by this extraordinary experience, grateful to have begun the journey among strangers and finished it with a new family that will remain with her always.
