Siyo, Kiyah Holmes is 25 years old and a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation from the Wolf Clan. She attended Sequoyah High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University. She lives in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with her childhood sweetheart, Devren Eagle. Her family comes from the Dry Creek Community.
Kiyah was honored to be selected as a youth rider for the 2024 Remember the Removal Bike Ride but unfortunately sustained an injury a few days before the ride. She was honored again to be selected as a youth rider for the 2025 Remember the Removal Bike Ride. Riding the same path her ancestors traveled was a powerful, heartbreaking, and inspiring experience. She drew strength from the determination and perseverance they demonstrated generations ago. Through the journey, she experienced significant personal growth and formed strong bonds with her teammates, whom she is proud to call family.
Kiyah will continue to carry the education and experiences she gained from the Remember the Removal Bike Ride throughout her life, using them to guide her as a strong Cherokee woman and to honor the legacy of her ancestors.
